PSTET Admit Card 2015

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) has been conducted by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on 13 December 2015. It had invited applications for this test for which the last date was on 23 November 2015. The exam is held to find eligibility of aspirants for being appointed at TGT, PRT teachers in Govt. schools of Punjab.

PSTET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment of TGT & PRT Teacher in Punjab State.
Important dates:

Conduct of written Examination – 13-12-2015 (Sunday)

  • Paper I – 13-12-2015 (Sunday) – 10:00 AM TO 12:30 PM
  • Paper II – 13-12-2015 (Sunday) – 02:30 PM TO 05:00 PM
Admit Card release date – 06-12-2015 (Sunday)

All questions will be objective type (MCQ), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be 150 questions having 150 marks. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
PSTET will consist of two papers.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II)

Qualifying Cut off marks:
Category – Pass %

  • General – 90/150(60%)
  • SC/ST/BC/OBC/Differently Abled – 82/150 (55%)

(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
TOTAL 150 MCQs 150 Marks
Paper 2 structure
(i) Child Development & Pedagogy(compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher) 60 MCQs 60 Marks
(iv) Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) 60 MCQs 60 Marks
TOTAL 150 MCQs 150 Marks

Candidate shall enter his/her Username and password for getting printout of his/her Admit Card. Please note that they will not be sent to the candidates by Post. Candidates have to download them and get a printout. Also one additional photo identity such as a driving license, college/university identity card, pan card etc. is required to be brought to the center on the day of the Examination.
