Rajasthan Forest Department had completed the application process for 1800 posts of Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) and 238 posts of Forester (Vanpal). Now the written exam is scheduled to be held from 07 to 10 January 2016. The candidates need to appear for this written exam as it is mandatory and a part of the selection process.
The admit card of Scheduled and Non TSP area had been released now. Candidates have to download it from the official website forestrecruitment.rajasthan.gov.in. The test will be held at various centres.

The written examination will be conducted offline using pen and paper mode. The question paper will consist of multiple choice objective type of 100 marks The time duration to solve the paper would be 1 hour 30 minutes. It will have questions from Science, Math, Current Affairs, Social Studies, Geography, History, Culture of Rajasthan.
The selection for Vanrakshak / Forest Guard / Forester posts is to be done on the basis of performance in following tests.

2. Physical Standard and Efficiency Test (PST / PET)
3. Interview
4. Medical Examination
5. Document / Character Verification
In order to be eligible for these posts, candidates should be minimum 18 years of age and passed 12th or equivalent.
