All new appointed candidates are put on probation period of two years. During this period, They are given fixed remuneration of Rs. 14600 per month. After probationary period, salary as per Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level 5 is given to the candidate. No allowances are given during probationary period. Only fixed payment of Rs. 14600 per month is given during probationary period.

After probationary trainee period, candidate is placed in Level 5 (L-5) of Rajasthan 7th pay matrix which corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400. The starting basic pay in Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level L-5 is Rs. 20800.
