Those who got appointment to Lab Assistant post after qualifying all stages of recruitment, candidate will be put on probationary period of two years during which they are given only a fixed remuneration (salary) of Rs. 18500 per month. New Appointments on on Lab Assistant posts are given salary as per Level 8 of Rajasthan pay matrix which corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay Rs. 2800.
The Starting basic pay of Rajasthan Lab Assistant is Rs. 5200 plus grade pay Rs. 2800 which is equivalents to Rs. 26300 starting basic pay as per 7th Pay Matrix of Rajasthan.
Salary as Probationary Trainee:
During probationary Period of 2 years, fixed remuneration of Rs. 18500 per month is given without any allowances but Leaves and other benefits are given as per Rajasthan service rules.
Salary after Probationary Period:
Total salary is addition of Basic Pay, DA, HRA and Other Allowances (CCA, TA, Special) if applicable.
RSMSSB Lab Assistant Salary Structure:
- Pay Scale: Level 8 of Rajasthan Pay Matrix (Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800)
- Salary during Probation Period: Rs. 18500 per month
- Starting Total Salary of Lab Assistant posts in Rajasthan (after probationary period) per month: Around Rs. 36000-40000 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
- Deductions: Around 3500 (NPS + Other Taxes if applicable)
- Cash in Hand Salary per month: Rs. 32500-36500.

Rajasthan Junior Lab Assistant Salary & Pay Scale:
During Probationary period, fixed remuneration of Rs. 14600 per month is given. After probationary period, salary as per Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level 5 is given to the candidate with all applicable allowances which corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400. The starting basic pay in Level L-5 is Rs. 20800.
As per this pay scale, the approximate total salary in starting will be around Rs. 29000-31500 (depending on posting and allowances).
Total salary is calculated by adding various allowances like DA, HRA etc.
Salary Structure:
