- Sub Inspector: Rs. 35400-112400 (Level 6 in 7th CPC Pay Matrix).

Constable:
Newly appointed candidates on Constable (GD, Tradesman etc.) posts in ITBP are placed in Level-3 (Rs. 21700-69100 equivalent to 5200-20200 Grade Pay 2000) of 7th CPC pay matrix with starting Basic pay of Rs. 21700 per month.
- Starting total salary of Constable in ITBP : approx. Rs. 29200-33200 per month
- Net cash in Hand Salary: Rs. 27200-31200 per month.
Various allowances allowances are given to candidates to form total salary. Candidates are covered under New Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme 2004.
Head Constable:
Recently ITBP has advertised for 248 Posts of Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial). Newly selected candidates on these posts are given Salary as per Level 4 (Rs. 25500-81100 equivalent to 5200-20200 Grade Pay 2400) Pay Scale of 7th CPC pay matrix.
The starting basic pay in Level 4 is Rs. 25500 and last basic pay on this scale is Rs. 81100.
- Starting total salary of Head Constable in ITBP: approx. Rs. 35500-39500 per month
- Net cash in Hand Salary : Rs. 32000-36000 per month.
