Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released advertisement for Junior Engineer (Kaniya Abhiyanta) Civil, Mechanical & Electrical posts. Selection to these posts is to be done through Jharkhand Diploma Level Combined Competitive Examination 2021. Selected candidates will be given pay scale as mentioned here.
Total salary is calculated by adding Basic Pay to allowances given by department i.e. Dearness allowance (DA), HRA and Other Allowances (as applicable).
JSSC JE Salary Structure 2024:
New Appointments on Junior Engineer posts are given salary as per Jharkhand pay matrix Level 6 Pay Scale (Rs. 35400-112400).
The Starting basic pay in Level 6 is Rs. 35400 per month and Last basic pay is Rs. 112400 per month given on 40th increment in basic pay.

- Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 35400 per month
- Total Salary of Junior Engineer in Jharkhand (in starting) per month: Around Rs. 53100-57100 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
- In Hand Salary: Rs. 48100-52100 per month
Allowances given:
- Dearness allowance (42% of Basic pay)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) depending on posting area – (9-27% of basic pay)
- other allowances, if applicable, as per rules of Jharkhand govt.
JSSC advertised for JDLCCE-2021 for filling various posts of Junior Engineer. Candidates need to have diploma in related trade to apply for these posts.
JDLCCE written exam will consist of two papers in which each question will be of 3 marks. Both Papers will have 120 MCQ questions with 2 hours duration each. 1/3 marks are to be deducted if wrong answer is marked.
