Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination. Selection of candidates is done through Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification. SSC GD Constable Salary 2024 as per Pay Scale
SSC fills these vacancies through written exam of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Those who qualify CBT exam, will have to appear for PET / PST and DV / Medical exam. Those who qualify all stages of recruitment, gets selected and given pay scale and salary as mentioned below.
SSC Salary of GD Constable in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman in Assam Rifles:
- Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay Level-3 (Rs 21700-69100) (equivalent to 6th CPC pay scale of 5200-20200 GP 2000).
- Total Salary (Starting): Rs. 33000-36500 per month
- In hand Salary (Starting) : Rs. 30000-33500 per month
SSC Salary of Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB):
- Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay Level-1 (Rs 18000-56900) (equivalent to 6th CPC pay scale of 5200-20200 GP 1800).
- Total Salary (Starting): Rs. Rs. 28000-31000 per month
- In hand Salary (Starting) : Rs. 25500-28500 per month
Allowances given:
- Dearness Allowance : 42% of basic pay from January 2023
- HRA: 27% of basic pay for Metro / big Class X cities, 18% of basic pay for Class Y cities and 9% of basic pay for Class Z cities / rural areas.
- Other allowances as applicable from time to time and not included in salary shown above.
