SSC MTS Pay Scale
Upon appointment to these posts, candidate is placed in Pay Scale Level 1 (Rs. 18000-56900) (equivalent to Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay 1800) of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. After addition of allowances to basic pay, total salary is determined. Below you can check it.
SSC MTS Salary 2024
- Total Salary in starting: around Rs. 28000-31000 per month
- In Hand Salary of MTS in starting: Rs. 25500-28500 per month
Allowances given:
- Dearness Allowance : 42% of basic pay from January 2023
- HRA: 27% of basic pay for Metro / big (Class X) cities (population above 50 lakh), 18% of basic pay for Class Y (population 5-50 lakh) cities and 9% of basic pay for Class Z cities / rural areas (population below 5 lakh). HRA is given at these rates since DA reached above 25% of basic pay.
- TA & Other allowances as applicable from time to time.
