Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group „C‟) for various Ministries/ Departments/
Organizations in the Government of India. Selection of candidates is done through all India Open Competitive examination and stenography skill test.
SSC Stenographer Salary 2024 per month

Pay Scale:
- Stenographer Grade C: 9300-34800 Grade Pay 4200 or 4600
- Stenographer Grade D: 9300-34800 Grade Pay 2400
SSC Stenographer (Grade C) Salary 2024 per month
Posts having Grade Pay 4200:
- Total Salary in starting for newly joining candidates: Rs. 54100-60100 per month
- Net in hand Salary after deductions : Rs. 49100-55100 per month
Posts having Grade Pay 4600:
- Total Salary in starting for newly joining candidates: Rs. 68000-76500 per month
- Net in hand Salary after deductions : Rs. 61500-70000 per month
SSC Stenographer (Grade D) Salary 2024 having Grade Pay 2400
- Total Salary in starting for newly joining candidates: Rs. 38000-43000 per month
- Net in hand Salary after deductions : Rs. 34500-39500 per month
Allowances given:
- Dearness Allowance is given at 42% of basic pay from January 2023.
- HRA is at 27% of basic pay for Metro / big Class X cities, 18% of basic pay for Class Y cities and 9% of basic pay for Class Z cities / rural areas.
- Other Allowances as per rules and not shown in salary shown above.
