UP Assistant Boring Technician (ABT) Salary 2024 Pay Scale

UPSSSC released advertisement no. 06-Exam/2019 for 468 ABT posts for which forms were filled from 14 August 2019 to 04
September 2019. Selection process consists of written exam of 120 marks having 120 questions with 1 hour 30 minutes duration. Those who got selected, gets salary as per level 2 of UP Pay matrix as mentioned below.

UP ABT Pay Scale

As per 2019 advt, a newly appointed candidate for ABT post gets pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 plus grade pay Rs. 1900 in the level 2 of Uttar Pradesh Pay matrix. Rs. 19900 will be the starting basic pay in this Level 2 Pay Scale. Basic pay will reach up to Rs. 63200 per month by 40th increment in this pay scale.

UP Assistant Boring Technician Pay Scale

UP Assistant Boring Technician Salary 2024 per month:

  • Pay Scale: Level 2 in UP Pay Matrix (Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay 1900).
  • Starting basic pay: Rs. 19900
  • Starting Total Salary after addition of all allowances to starting basic pay: Rs. 30200/- to Rs. 33200/- per month
  • Deductions (10% of basic pay + DA and other taxes): Rs. 2800
  • In Hand Salary per month: Rs. 27400/- to Rs. 30400 per month

 

The total salary will be around Rs. 30200-33100 after adding all allowances. HRA depends on class of area posting is given. Candidate is covered under National Pension Scheme (NPS) in which around 10% of candidate’s basic pay is deducted every month. After deductions, Net in hand salary will be around Rs. 27400-30400 per month.

Allowances includes :

  • Dearness allowance (DA) @42% of basic pay
  • House Rant Allowance (HRA)
  • Travelling Allowance
  • Other allowances as admissible

 

Candidate will be granted leaves as per rules.
All allowances are calculated from basic pay. The revision of Dearness allowance is done two times every year by Govt. Increment in basic pay is done every year which increases total salary of candidate.
