SSC Translator Salary 2024 (JT JHT SHT) Pay Scale

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator (JT) and Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.

These posts are of Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted. Selection of candidates is done through Paper-I and Paper-II.

The vacancies of Translator are filled through two Computer Based Examination paper 1 and 2. Unreserved Candidates need to be between 18 to 30 years of Age and have masters degree in mentioned subject or certificate/diploma in translation to apply for these posts.

SSC Translator Pay Scale:

• Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS), M/o Railways (Railway Board), Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ): 7th CPC Level-6 (Rs.35400- 112400) Grade Pay 4200
• Junior Translator (JT)/ Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) in subordinate offices (who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT): 7th CPC Level-6 (Rs.35400- 112400) Grade Pay 4200
• Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices: 7th CPC Level-7 (Rs.44900- 142400) Grade Pay 4600

SSC Translator (JT/JHT/SHT) Salary 2024 per month as per Pay Scale

Allowances:

• Dearness Allowance (DA) : 42% of basic pay from January 2023.
• HRA: 27% of basic pay for Metro / big Class X cities, 18% of basic pay for Class Y cities and 9% of basic pay for Class Z cities / rural areas.
• Other allowances as applicable from time to time and not included in salary shown in table above.
