A new appointed candidate on AG-II or Steno Gr. II post in FCI, is placed in training period during which he/she is given minimum pay in pay scale. After training, the candidate is given salary as per pay scale of Rs. 30500-88100. The starting basic pay of AG-II in this pay scale is Rs. 30500 per month. Total salary gets calculated by adding various allowances to basic pay.
FCI Assistant Grade II & Steno Salary Structure 2024:
- Total Salary during Training: Rs. 30500 (no allowances given).
- FCI Assistant Grade II / Steno Gr. II Pay Scale after successful training: IDA Pay scale of Rs. 30500-88100 (former pay scale 9900-25530)
- Starting basic pay on the post of Assistant Grade II: Rs. 30500
- FCI Assistant Gr. II / Steno II Total Salary (in starting after training) after adding all allowances: Around 56300-63900 depending on place of posting and rate of allowances given.
- Net in Hand Salary of AG2 & Steno II: Rs. 52100-59700 per month
Allowances and Perks:
All Advertised FCI AG II Posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as DA on percentage basis, HRA, Leave Travel facilities etc.
Allowance rates:
- IDA Dearness Allowance rate: 39.2 percent of basic pay from 01 July 2023
- HRA rates : Rs. 3600 or 7200, Rs. 10800 depending on place of posting.
- Entertainment Allowance (6% p.m.): Rs. 1830
- House up Keep Allowance (10% p.m.): Rs. 3050
