Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released advertisement for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Regular & Backlog posts to be filled through PGT Teacher Competitive Examination (PGTTCE-2022). 
Total 3120 posts of various subjects PGT Teacher (Hindi, English, Maths, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce) has been advertised as regular vacancies. New Appointments on PGT Teacher posts are given salary as per Jharkhand pay matrix Level 8 (Rs. 47600-151100). The Starting basic pay in Level 8 is Rs. 47600 per month and Last basic pay is Rs. 151100 per month given on 40th increment in basic pay.

Total salary is calculated by adding Basic Pay to allowances given by department i.e. Dearness allowance (DA), HRA and Other Allowances (as applicable).

JSSC PGT Salary Structure:

  • Pay Scale: Level 8 of Jharkhand Pay Matrix (Rs. 47600-151100)
  • Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 47600 per month
  • Starting Total Salary of PGT Teacher in Jharkhand: Around Rs. 66500-72500 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
  • Jharkhand PGT In Hand Salary: Rs. 60000-66000 per month

Allowances given: Dearness allowance (31% of Basic pay), House Rent Allowance (HRA) depending on posting area - (9-27% of basic pay), other allowances, if applicable, as per rules of Jharkhand govt.

JSSC advertised for PGTTCE-2022 for filling PGT Teacher of various subjects. Candidates need to have masters degree with B.Ed. and other requirements as mentioned in notification, to apply for these posts. There will be two papers in written examination. Paper 1 will be of 100 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks.
