JKSSB Forester Salary 2024 as per JK Pay Scale Level-5 (29200-92300)

This advt has 250 Forester posts to be filled in Forest Ecology and Environment. Candidates need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualification with science to apply for these posts subject to satisfying Physical standards. Selection is to be done through written exam and Physical test (qualifying only).

New Appointments on Inspector or Forester posts (Permanent / Regular) are given salary as per Level 5 of Jammu & Kashmir 7th Pay Matrix which corresponds to Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay 2800.

The Starting basic pay of Forester through JKSSB after probation period is Rs. 29200 per month. Last basic pay on pay level 4 is Rs. 92300 per month.

Total salary = Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Other Allowances (CCA, TA, Special) if applicable.

Appointed candidates shall be governed by the provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Probationer (Condition of Services, Pay & Allowances) and Fixation of Tenure Rules, 2020. Total Salary during 2 year probation period after joining will be minimum of pay scale i.e. Rs. 29200 per month (no allowances given).

• Pay Scale: Level 5 of J&K Pay Matrix (Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2800)
• Starting Basic Pay on regular posts after 2 years successful probation: Rs. 29200 per month
• Starting Total Salary / Vetan of Forester posts (Permanent / Regular) in Jammu & Kashmir after probation: Around Rs. 43000-45500 per month depending on area of posting and rate of allowances.
• Net In Hand Salary: Rs. 39000-41500 per month

Allowances given:

• Dearness allowance: 42% of Basic pay
• House Rent Allowance (HRA) depending on posting area – (8-16% of basic pay)
• other allowances, if applicable, as per rules of Jammu & Kashmir Govt Pay Rules.
