Total salary is calculated by adding Basic Pay to allowances given by department i.e. Dearness allowance (DA), HRA and Other Allowances (as applicable).

Newly Appointment candidates through JMLCCE exam are to be given salary as per Jharkhand pay matrix Level 1 (Rs. 18000-56900).
The Starting basic pay in Level 1 is Rs. 18000 per month and Last basic pay is Rs. 56900 per month given on 40th increment in basic pay.

- House Rent Allowance (HRA) depending on posting area – (9-27% of basic pay)

JSSC advertised for JMLCCE-2022 for filling 268 posts in Keetpalak and equivalent industry deptt. and 187 posts in Kushal Shilpi and equivalent industry deptt.. There will be three papers in written examination. Paper 1 will be of 120 marks and of qualifying nature. Paper 2 will be of 100 marks and paper 3 of 120 marks. Each paper will have duration of 2 hours.
