Those who got appointed as Mahila Swasthya Karyakarta in Uttar Pradesh departments on regular / permanent posts, gets placed in Pay Matrix Level 3 Pay Scale of Rs. 21700-69100 (equivalent to Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2000).
The starting basic pay of ANM in this PB-1 pay scale as per 7th Pay Commission is Rs. 21700 per month.

Salary Structure of ANM in Uttar Pradesh:
- Pay Scale: Level 3 of UP Pay Matrix i.e. Rs. 21700-69100
- Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 21700 per month
- Last basic pay on this post: Rs. 69100 per month
- Starting Total Salary per month in 2023 : around Rs. 31100-35100 per month
- Deductions: Rs. 3000
- In Hand Salary per month: Rs. 28100-32100 per month
Allowances:
Dearness Allowance: 31% of basic pay i.e. Rs. 6727
House Rent Allowance (HRA):
- 8% of basic pay for Class Z cities
- 16% of basic pay for class Y cities
- 24% of basic pay for Class X cities
other allowances as applicable.

Candidates need to be 12th pass or equivalent and have done ANM course and registration with Uttar Pradesh Nursing Council. Selection of candidates is to be done through written exam.
