These posts are of Group B (level 7 of Pay matrix). A new appointed candidate on Nursing Officer post in AIIMS, is given salary as per 7th Pay matrix Level-7 Pre-revised Pay band 2 of Pay Scale (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay 4600 and other usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Servant of similar status stationed at respective cities of respective Institutes/Hospitals.
AIIMS Nursing Officer Salary Structure 2024:
- Pay Scale: Level 7 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay 4600)
- Starting basic pay on the post of Nursing officer: Rs. 44900 per month
- Last basic pay on this post: Rs. 142400 per month
- Total Salary (in starting) after adding all allowances: Around 77100-82100 per month.
- Net in Hand Salary: Rs. 71100-76100 per month

Nursing officer posts will be filled at following AIIMS institutes situated at New Delhi, Bhathinda, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Bibinagar, Kalyani, Rajkot, Patna, Vijaypur, Rishikesh, Bareli, Raipur, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Mangalagiri, Guwahati, Jodhpur.
Salary may differ to some extent depending on place of posting and rate of allowances given by AIIMS.
Candidate need to be B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons Nursing / Post Basic Nursing / Post certificate or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with 2 years experience and registration with State / Indian Nursing Council to be eligible for application to these posts. Selection of candidates is all AIIMS will be done through this common examination (NORCET-2022).
