Probation period:
The selected candidates will be appointed on probation. They will be liable to serve anywhere in India including field locations/remote areas, as and when required, as per extant GOI rules.
A new appointed candidate on Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) post in DRDO, is given salary as per Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay matrix Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules. The starting basic pay of STA-B in this pay scale is Rs. 35400 per month and last basic pay on this post is Rs. 112400.
DRDO Salary of STA-B:
- Starting basic pay on the post of Senior Technical Assistant-B: Rs. 35400 per month
- Total Salary of STA-B in DRDO (in starting) after adding all allowances: Around 54420-62590 depending on place of posting and rate of allowances given.
- Net in Hand Salary: Rs. 50400-58500 per month
A new appointed candidate on Technician-A post in DRDO, is given salary as per Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200) as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules. The starting basic pay of Tech-B in this pay scale is Rs. 19900 per month and last basic pay on this post is Rs. 63200.
DRDO Salary 2024 of Technician-A:
- Starting basic pay on the post of Technician-A: Rs. 19900 per month
- Total Salary of Technician A in DRDO (in starting) after adding all allowances: Around 32200-37600 depending on place of posting and rate of allowances given.
- Net in Hand Salary: Rs. 28200-33500 per month
