Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) conducts Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) which is mandatory to qualify for aspirants.

Haryana TGT Teacher Salary 2024 per month & Pay Scale
Upon new appointment, the Pay Scale of TGT Teachers in Haryana on permanent posts is Rs. 44900-142400 as per 7th pay matrix of Haryana (equivalent pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 Grade pay 4600 in 6th Pay matrix).
The starting basic pay as per this scale is Rs. 44900. The total salary in starting for new appointments based on this basic pay is around Rs. 70000-75000.

After deductions, the net starting salary will be around Rs. 63000-68000 per month depending on place of posting and allowances.

A 3% increment in basic pay is given to candidate up to 40 years till it reaches its level Rs. 142400. Also Dearness allowance gets increased every six months. Posting can be done in any Govt School of Haryana depending on requirement of Education department.

- Current Dearness allowance: 42%
- House Rent Allowance: 9-18% for class X, Y cities.
- Other allowances as per rules of the Haryana govt.
Deductions includes 10% of salary for National Pension Scheme (NPS) and other taxes. Other benefits includes Cashless Medical benefits, leaves, Holidays etc.
