UP Van Daroga Salary 2024 per month & Pay Scale
As per the notification published by UPSSSC, a fresh appointed candidate for this post gets the salary as per Pay Band: 1 – Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200 Grade pay Rs. 2800 (Rs. 29200-92300) in the level 5 of UP Pay matrix.
The starting basic pay in this pay scale is Rs. 29200 per month and last basic pay is Rs. 92300.
Total salary in starting will be around Rs. 41500-46500 per month after adding all allowances.

Dearness Allowance: 42% of basic pay i.e. Rs. 12264
House Rent Allowance (HRA): depending on class of cities.
Salary will be higher in X class cities where high percentage of HRA is paid while HRA will be less for Z class cities. National Pension Scheme will be provided to candidates. Around 10% of basic pay is to be deducted every month for this. After deductions, cash in hand salary will be around Rs. 37500-42500 per month.
UPSSSC released advertisement no. 06-Exam/2022 for 701 Van Daroga posts to be filled in Forest Department. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates from 17 October to 06 November 2022.
A candidate has to be PET Qualified and between the age of 21-40 years. Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in any one of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Forestry, Agriculture, Statistics, Environment Science etc. relavant subject to apply. Selection process consists of written exam, physical efficiency test, physical measurement test and medical examination.
