Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has released advertisement no. 11/VSA/2022/AA inviting online forms for 186 Assistant Accountant (Sahayak Lekhakar) Group ‘C’ posts for all its discoms, kesco and transco.

Eligibility criteria :
(a) Age limit :
- 21 to 40 years as on 01 July 2022
- 5 years Upper age relaxation is applicable for Scheduled castes / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backword class (NCL), ESM, Dependents of Freedom Fighters and 15 years relaxation for PH (OA, OL), Only residents of Uttar Pradesh can take benefits of reservation.
(b) Educational Qualification :
Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) from recognized university / institutes established under act of state or central Govt.
Selection process :
Objective type Computer Based test (CBT) will be conducted in 2nd week of January 2023. It will have 200 MCQ Questions consisting of two parts. 1st part will have 50 questions of one mark each from Computer knowledge (DOEACC ‘O’ Level). Candidates must obtain minimum 50% marks in this computer section otherwise 2nd part will not be evaluated.
2nd part will have 150 questions from Accountancy, Auditing, Income tax (conforming to Graduation standand) along with Hindi, English, Arithmatic. Online exam will be held likely at various centres located in Agra, Meerut, Lucknow and Varanasi. Selection will be done only through this written exam.
