MP Patwari Salary 2023 (Total & In Hand) Pay Scale

Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB or MPPEB) has invited online applications for Group 2 (Sub Group 4) combined recruitment test that includes 3555 various posts. These posts includes 2736 posts of Patwari to be filled in Land Records Department of the state. Written exam for selection of candidates will be starting from 15 March 2023.
The pay scale of these posts is mentioned in the rulebook. Do you know what is the total / in hand salary of Patwari in Madhya Pradesh as per this pay scale.

The pay scale of MP Patwari is Rs. 5200-20200 plus 2100 Grade Pay (Level 5 Rs. 22100-70000). 
In this Pay Scale, newly joining candidates on regular / permanent posts are given stipend for 1st three years of service. The minimum of this pay scale / starting basic pay is Rs. 22100.

Total Salary during 1st 3 years of Service:

Below are the details of stipend.
  • 1st year: 70% of minimum of pay scale = Rs. 15470 per month
  • 2nd year: 80% of minimum of pay scale = Rs. 17680 per month
  • 3rd year: 90% of minimum of pay scale = Rs. 19890 per month

Salary after 3 years:

After this period, candidate will be given salary starting with Rs. 22100 as starting basic pay with all allowances. This basic pay keeps on increasing every year till it reaches its last Rs. 70000. 
Total Salary = sum of basic pay and allowances. 
Net Salary = Total Salary - deductions.

Salary Structure of MP Patwari :

  • Pay Scale: Level 5 of MP Pay Matrix Rs. 5200-20200 plus 2100 Grade Pay
  • Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 22100
  • Last Basic Pay : Rs. 70000
  • Starting Total Salary on permanent posts after 3 years: Around 32000-35500 per month
  • Deductions: Rs. 3000/-
  • Net Starting Salary per month: Rs. 29000-32500 per month

The above given salary depends on place of posting of candidate and allowances given by MP Govt and may differ by some extent.
Allowances that are given includes Dearness Allowance @34% of basic pay and HRA (24%, 16%, 8% depending on class of city where candidate is posted), Travel Allowance. Other allowances as applicable. Candidate will be covered under NPS (National Pension Scheme).
