CTET Result 2022-23

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test every year. This year also, this test is being held from 28 December 2022 to 07 February 2023 at various centres all over the country.Both paper 1 & Paper 2 exam was organized in morning & evening sessions. The latest news is that CTET Exam Result 2022-23 is scheduled to be declared by the last week of February 2023. Candidates can check them from the direct link given below after announcement.

Those candidates who are able to qualify this test will become eligible for teaching jobs in Delhi govt. schools, KVS, NVS etc. Also any school can exercise the option of considering CTET as eligibility.

Applicability:

  • Schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the Administrative Control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.
  • CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering it.
  • Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools can also consider the CTET.

Please note that qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment / employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
Candidates can check their obtained marks from the direct links given below. The result is to be available now on CTET official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates have to provide their roll number to check them.

The written exam is of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQs). There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
There are 2 papers in the test.

  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers.

CTET Cut off Marks:
Those Candidates who scores 60% (90 marks out of 150 marks) or more are declared qualified. However a relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks is given to reserved category candidates (means 55% or 82.5 marks out of 150 marks) belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories. The candidates who qualify the exam will be issued marks statement and certificate.
Validity: Lifetime.

1. After declaration, visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
2. On the website page, find and click the related link.
3. Enter your roll number / registration no. and date of birth / password and submit.
Your result of CTET 2022-23 exam will be displayed by the website.
