Every year, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination to fill various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts posts in Central Govt. ministries / department.This year in 2023, SSC had released the recruitment advertisement / notification of CGL 2023 exam on 03 April 2023. Lakhs of candidates are going to apply and appear for this examination. Most of them prepare for this test months before the examination date.

The submission of online applications will start from 03 April 2023 & will end on 03 May 2023 up to 23:00 hrs. Those candidates who want to apply, should know what is the exam date, online form submission information and where / how to apply for it. Important dates:

• SSC CGL 2023 Notification/ advt. Release and Form filling starting date – 03 April 2023.
• Last date to apply online – 03 May 2023
• Last date for Online fee payment and generation of offline Challan: 04-05-2023 (23:00)
• Challan payment last date (during bank working hours): 05-05-2023
• Application correction can be done: from 07-05-2023 to 08-05-2023 (23:00)
• Tentative Date for Tier-I (CBE): Jul, 2023
• Tier 2 date: To be notified later

Age limit: Minimum 18 years to Maximum 27/30/32 years depending on post. Check below given image for all details.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university is required for most of the posts. There are some other requirements for some posts which you can check from click on below given image.

How to fill Online form for SSC CGL 2023 Notification:

Before applying online, candidate should have details of qualifying educational qualification like passing year, roll number,
percentage/ CGPA, name of Board, Scanned photo and Signature etc.

For submitting online form, visit ssc.nic.in and click on register now if you have not already registered and complete your registration by entering your personal details like name, father’s name, date of birth, address, aadhar number etc.. In case you have already registered earlier, then you can proceed by entering your username (SSC Registration no.) and password in the fields given.
After successful registration, note your registration id and login. Upload photo and signature (as per details mentioned below) and click submit.

• JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB) and dimension: 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
• Photo of candidate should not be more than 3 months old from notification date (03 April 2023) and without
  cap and spectacles with clear frontal face view.

• JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) with dimensions about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height)

Then proceed to make fee payment. If you want to pay online fee, they pay using netbanking, debit card, credit card etc. If you want to pay offline using challan, then generate challan. After successful payment, take a print of your completed application form.

Well, since tier 1 exam is to be held in July 2023 and time is getting nearer and nearer, those candidates who want to qualify this examination, should start to work harder now.
